Developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and funded by Missouri’s Medicaid program and the Department of Mental Health’s purchase-of-service system, the ASAM programming provides a full continuum of care approach to substance use disorder treatment.

 

ASAM offers a flexible combination of clinical and supportive services that vary in duration and intensity depending on the needs of the consumer. The Heartland Center for Behavioral Change ASAM programs offer outpatient treatment and inpatient withdrawal management services to adult men and women with substance use disorders.
