Who We Are

The Heartland Center for Behavioral Change is a private, not for profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing substance abuse and other behavioral healthcare services to Missouri residents. Founded in 1982 as the Kansas City Community Center, we deliver hope, healing and recovery to people who are struggling with addiction and other life problems. Our comprehensive services have helped tens of thousands of people begin a new life — free of alcohol and drugs.
