QI Assistant


GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This is work of highly specialized complexity in the Quality Improvement department. The Quality Improvement Assistant is responsible for working with the other members of the Quality Improvement department to coordinate the development of reports to de used in directing Quality Assurance/Improvement efforts of the agency. Work involves coordination with the Quality Improvement, Billing, and Corporate Compliance departments. This employee will be cross trained to coordinate accounts receivable functions including compiling and analyzing data from billing and activity logs, checking data for completeness and accuracy, recording, entering, and retrieving information in an automated database, preparing invoices for payers, and resolving payer problems as needed. The employee is expected to have a thorough understanding of all agency Quality Improvement, Billing, and Compliance terminology and functions. This employee is expected to understand regulatory requirements and to exercise an ability to compile and present reports in a manner that is meaningful for the agency Quality Improvement efforts.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or GED certificate required. Bachelor’s Degree in human services related field preferred.
Certification/Registration Preferred: CRADC (CSAC II), CRAADC (CASAC), CCJP, CCDP/D

Experience:
We require three (3) experience, quality/performance improvement, healthcare billing, Medicaid and Medicare claims, and experience with Electronic Health Records systems. OR Three (3) years experience in the development of Quality Improvement reports including knowledge and experience with available software.
We prefer three (3) years minimum experience working in the field of substance abuse and mental health
